Pictionary Classic - Singapore Edition Contains 500 Unique Words
Singapore, ## October 2009 – Classic Singapore icons such as Phua Chu Kang, Zouk, Kiasu, Orchid, and the ERP reaffirmed their place in Singapore culture today with the launch of Pictionary Classic – Singapore Limited Edition.
Created by Mattel, the world’s biggest toy company, Pictionary, the game of quick draw, is the game where your pencil does the talking, while you and your team try to guess the words by sketching clues to each other whilst racing against the clock, now comes with a version that is specially for the local audience.
The limited edition board game, created by the international toys and family products brand, Mattel, features a bonus pack with 500 additional words -- with a unique Singapore flavour.
Developed with the help of local netizens, Mattel compiled the list from words and phrases submitted to the websites www.pictionary.com.sg or www.pictionary.sg. Visitors to the sites then voted on the words to be included, and the final list of 500 words was chosen for this very special edition of Pictionary.
Pictionary Classic - Singapore Edition is a limited edition collectors’ item. There will only be 5,500 units produced. Each unit of Pictionary Classic - Singapore Edition comes with its own numbered certificate of authenticity which also features the names of those who had contributed to the game.
